Feeling re-energised after our stopover at San Martin, and trusting in the forecast we'd picked up in Ensenada, we pulled out of Caleta Hassler mid-morning and had probably our best sail yet! With an average of 20 kts NW we made about 140 miles in 24 hours, which might sound slow but was a big deal for us, and great sailing!
We pulled into Cedros Island's most southerly bay just before dark, joining our friends on Wendelin who had already spent a night in this spectacular anchorage with its multi-coloured, volcanic rockscape.
