After leaving Mazatlan we motored/sailed across the sea of Cortez and after a forty hour passage arrived in Ensenada de los Muertos, about 90 miles north of Cabo. We pulled in at 4:30 am and had a three hour sleep before raising anchor and heading up the Cerralvo channel past La Ventana. Were able to sail most of the way past the point in a stiff breeze but once into the channel we were against both wind and current so ended up under power till the late afternoon.
