On the advice of our cruising friends David and Robyn, we decided to rent the larger family room apartment as it has much more room to store all the gear that we have taken off Moonfleet. It has a large balcony overlooking the marina where we have parked our dinghy plus lots of the stainless steel fittings from the decks. It has worked out cheaper than having a small room and then rent storage, which we understand is infested with rats! The other advantage is that we can service and clean everything we need to, right here on the balcony.

The apartment is serviced twice a week, which means clean sheets every few days! Electricity, which expensive, is extra so we don’t keep the air-con on all day.
