Afternoon

The Puffing Billy stops at Emerald Lake high in the Dandenong Ranges, which is where we got off to have our picnic. Pedalos are for hire on the lake so, as to be expected, Ben was very keen to have go even though his legs couldn't reach the pedals! However he enjoyed steering whilst I did all the work but he wanted to use it as a bumper car, something that was strictly forbidden by the owners. So more than once we got a reprimanding whistle blown at us!!

Ben was fascinated some snake neck turtles in a tank in the Rangers building and spent a long time studying them. These turtles apparently live in the lake.
