After a wet morning indoors with energetic children, Natasha suggested that we go for a walk through the forest to Sherbrooke Falls. It was a lovely walk through temperate rain forest with many beautiful tree ferns everywhere. Seeing so many growing in abundance made me think about how so many gardeners in England try to grow them, and often lose them due to the cold winters.

There wasn't much water at the falls but the 3km walk was very enjoyable.
