The water maker has been installed and the testing of it happens later today - amazing that you can turn salt water into pleasant drinking water. This is Felipe who's been installing (and providing design input on our logo choice)

We've also had pirates working aboard - with sword earrings, toe rings, and pirate-like head scarfs. They are great workers - figuring out how to fit a washing machine on board has been something of a challenge. Still not there yet, but looks as if under the chart table will be the final destination.

This guy built a pirate ship at St Thomas for a half million $US for a billionaire's Christmas gift for his daughters. He showed us a video of it - a full sized ship, with wood floors, rigging, cannons, and of course, pirates. No sign of Johnny Depp.

As I'm typing this, I suddenly felt a pair of eyes on me, look over my shoulder...

Our New Zealand Registration finally came through overnight - thanks so much Robyn, who has been helping us through a bureaucratic maze from the New Zealand end of things.

Deborah is off picking up our new anchor, and our anchor chain arrived a week early.

Its lovely here this morning - after a big downfall of rain, the air is a little cooler and drier, the birds must like it too as they are in full voice.
