Today was an easy day. Four of the boats had to buy fuel and pump out their holding tanks, and as soon as we were all ready we left Mariehamn. It was a very comfortable trip from the ?.land Islands to the islands on the East coast of Sweden, just a bit more than 2-1/2 hours. We are in Id� Island and it is just gorgeous. We are the only boats here for the night. We went ashore to walk around. There are a very few houses on the island, some cows, sheep, and at least one horse. A large part of the island is a park. It is beautiful, even if it is a bit cold. We could be in Maine, Scotland, or Nova Scotia, except for the navigation marks, the language, and the perpetual daylight.
