We're adjusting to all things French on St. Martin. Except for the fact that it can get too hot during the middle of the day (sorry about that to the folks back in cold Indy), I think Kate is in heaven. This is a short post, but I wanted to share a couple of photos because some of our friends are true "foodies"! The French really have the baguette thing down, and their pastries aren't far behind. We found this great little place called Top Carrot or Piece of Cake or something, and their crepes are to die for. We had a chocolate strawberry crepe this afternoon. We've had breakfast there nearly every day. It's awesome.
We're planning to leave for St. Barths tomorrow. We'll spend New Year's Eve there with some of our new cruising friends. I had some luck today with guys checking out our auto pilot and generator, but lest I jinx things, I'll leave the story on that for later. Gotta go back to the boat now and grill up some Bubba Burgers. More on that later too !
