3 am and about 100 nm to go to Spanish Cay in the Abacos (NW Bahamas), where we plan to make a (hopefully brief) pit stop to top-up diesel... the cold front seems to pass through just north of us and we're having very nice sailing conditions, close reaching under starry skies... all is well aboard - stay tuned for further updates

We're under way again, going WNW towards the NW Bahamas where we hope to arrive sometime Wednesday or Thursday... current position is 22-10N 071-49W ... looking at the weather forecasts we're definitely glad we did not go via Bermuda as the low pressure systems and associated fronts still come off the US east coast in quick succession ... all is well aboard - stay tuned for further updates ...

Arrived off Grand Turk Island this morning... the wind did pick up in the end so we got to at least enjoy a few hours of nice sailing. We will likely stay here for two nights before moving on towards North Carolina (wind and weather will dictate whether direct or via the Bahamas). All is well aboard, stay tuned...
