My Easter Bracelet

09 April 2012
Cameia

I bought this bracelet at the La Cruz market on Easter Sunday. I call it my Easter Bracelet however it is really called a "Jesus Life Bracelet". The lady selling them told me the story of what each bead represents and I was very touched. If you start at the first 3 blue beads to the right of the heart, which represent the 3 Wise Men, you can follow the story.

Once upon a time,
there were Three Wise Men
guided by a Star,
They were on the way to witness
the birth of a New King,
"The King of Kings"

When he grew up, he became a
Carpenter and Fisherman of Men and Souls.

He had Twelve Apostles who helped him
to spread the word of good.

But one day of hate, vengeance and betrayal,
He was crucified.
Spilling his Precious Blood to save us.
He rose to Heaven to be with His Father,
and love was the reason for all.
