Our Garden Shed

Surprise, I am back! One of the first projects that we started was getting a garden shed built. We decided to purchase one from Costco as oppose to building one of our own. We may choose to do that down the road but for now this one will do us just fine. They certainly aren't cheap at $1,000.00 plus tax, plus building a plat form which entails, cement blocks, cement, nails, pretreated wood all at an additional cost of approx. $250.00. We built it together and yes I even helped hammer in nails for the base. I laid out all the parts and with the help of the picture instruction book, (no written instructions) we were able to put it all together in about 1.5 days. Just a hint for anyone else that may want to build one of these sheds, you must follow the instructions, don't jump ahead when you think you know what to do because you will end up having to undo what you thought was right. Believe me, we know from experience. All in all we are quite happy with it and it certainly does serve the purpose to hold all our gardening tools, wheel barrow, lawn mower, etc. Personally, I think it is real cute and we love it.! Our friends are building one to match their house and after two weeks of building and $2,500.00 they still aren't done.
Bob's back is feeling a bit better everyday however he is still taking it easy. Yesterday we went shopping and ordered some blinds for the livingroom window to block the glare on the TV. We really didn't want any window coverings in the livingroom because we like the view of the backyard and trees behind our house but the glare on the TV caused us to rethink about the blinds.
That's it for today, next time I'll fill you in about prawning and fishing todate.
