Friends and full moons…..

09 June 2012 | Paphos, Cyprus

What a pleasure to be back on Necessity! She is every bit as wonderfull as I remembered. We bid goodbye to Tom & Carol yesterday and set sail for Pathos. Winds were on the nose and very irritating! However, we followed Cypress’ shoreline, and with the aid of an ‘almost’ full moon, we made our way to Paphos. As we entered it’s tiny marina we were befriended by a young sailor from Estonia and one local…. both very impressed with our captain and the fact that he brought his vessel all the way from Canada!
Paphos is a vibrant little town – lots going on today as it is a national holiday. Necessity is moored only a few hundred feet away from a huge stage
