Storm the Castle

Brian

Tuesday October 16, 2012
Cleanup day with Rene washing the interior while Brian polished the stainless in the cockpit. After a cooling shower we headed off to see the Castle of St. Peter and the Archeological Museum which is housed there. A magnificent structure with inside and outside walls and fully restored, it contains artifacts found underwater from shipwrecks in some of the bays we visited. There were several reconstructed ships and lots of Amphora dating back to the 4th century BC.
Wandering around the Bazaar we checked out several waterfront restaurants which face on the outer harbour and enjoyed a leisurely dinner and caught up on some email as we sat. Rene enjoyed a baked Sea Bass with vegetables while Brian stayed with the octopus. An early night once again watching the harbour activity. Hugh & Penny arrive tomorrow and our final week aboard will begin.
