Friday, getting ready for more sweat

I'm sitting here in the galley having a cuppa coffee trying to work up the courage to go out with the sander and start sanding the hull. I can't escape the fact that two years ago when we were in the Bahamas the temperature was every bit as warm and it didn't bother us quite so much. I suspect we have been Canadian conditioned spending the winters at home for the last two years and getting our blood thickened up again.

I guess the secret is to put up with it until we get used to it once again. As the Admiral has just said, it's not like we have much choice.

We are making progress. We can see the floor of the cabins in some places, and we are making sensible plans for storage. The biggest step is getting power back aboard so we can actually have lights and so that we can use the refrigeration units we have aboard rather that the ice box.
