Another road trip, this time to visit yet another friend whose body has betrayed them. One of Barb's Farm Market buddies had a stroke last week and is going through the initial hospitalization stages of recuperation. Physically she looks great but her mind is trying to say something but she can't make her mouth articulate the words. It's almost like she will have to learn to speak all over again.

As I said in a couple of my previous posts, there is something of a design failure in the human carcass if in your twilight years, when you should be enjoying yourself albeit at a slower pace, something happens to debilitate you. I believe in a supreme being but he, or she must have a really evil sense of humour if what happens to so many of us is what they intended.

Oh well.
