The day before Kayte gets here

I guess for every nice day by the rules of averages we have to have a day that isn't so nice and today would be that day. At least is isn't cold, but it is wet with rain etc and the forecast is for more along with thunderstorms. Makes me a wee bit worried about daughter Kayte's arrival tomorrow. The last time she was supposed to be joining us on a cruise was Christmas 2008 and her flight was weather diverted to Montreal or Ottawa and she got delayed by 24 hours.
Regardless, we are really looking forward to her visit.
The boat is tidied and her cabin readied. We have some meals planned and some excursions suggested. As I said, looking forward to her visit.
I think that the state government of Florida is data mining on the Internet and got wind of my discussion with our friend Snoozer about anchoring laws in Florida and sent me an invite to have input to their discussion and decisions on the topic in the state. I was surprised that they cared about the opinion of a foreign national but they specifically asked for input from cruising tourists and asked what country I was from and accepted a Canadian postal code as I put to the Zip field. They also asked that I forward the survey to anyone else who is interested in the topic so here you go. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/AnchoringSurvey It doesn't matter what your opinion is, you can agree with me or not, but it is important that you have your input as it would appear that they are well on their way to doing something on the subject.
Tonight we are having a free concert at the Public Park next door. It's not really free, just LOUD we are getting it regardless. Actually it's pretty good.
