Town of Mahone Bay mooring field. The famous three churches are in the distance and the main part fo town is on the left.

The La Have River at dawn. This reminded me of a Wagnerian opera, Das Rhiengeld, and I kept expecting for Rheinmaidens to rise up out of the water to confront me.

La Have Bakery dock. Mmmmmm! Smell those cinamon rolls! The bakery is in the front of the red building at the head of the dock. The rest of the building are accomadations, and an artisan

The Shelbure Harbour Yacht Club is our South Shore Club. Very nice facilities including a live theatre in the back. At any given time you are likely to meet yachts from anywhere there waiting for a weather window

This photo was taken during a 2003 cruise to Shelburne and actually belongs to Blaine and Jannet Parks from SV CHARBONNEAU. NELLEKE is on the dock on the extreme right of the photo and CHARBONNEAU lies perpendicular to her on her port side.

The Lunenburg Harbour Waterfront is a Canada Heritage site. Walking distance from the waterfront are numerous fine restauraunts, a ships chandlery, a grocery store, boutiques, art galleries and an excellent fisheries museum

The public wharf at Back Cove Chester. Friends form Chester recommended this place to us. Where Nelleke is tied off is where you can berth. The other sides have "No overnight Berthing" signs
