Carl, Melissa, Becky, Maggie & I took the dingy to the public dock for a walk about town while Robert worked and Don worked on boats, getting ours set with jack lines and securely stowing cabin stuff. Kudzu Bakery was the first stop and we stocked up on essentials and then enjoyed day old treats with coffee in the lovely courtyard, balmy weather! We rode a falling tide out past the lighthouse and out the Inlet at 1:00 for a night of motor sailing. Rolling 1 - 2 ft waves lulled us as the 3/4 moon rose and shone down on us. A trio of small dolphins escorted Nemo for many miles, keeping us entertained watching for fins and tales. Dinner just needed to be heated and I fell asleep shortly after, waking at 11:30 for the midnight shift. Our old friend Orion seemed to be beckoning us onward through the sky full of stars, beautiful!

An uneventful evening allowed Don to sleep while I played puzzles; mahjong, crane game, cribbage and even suduko to stay awake, finally hauling out the crochet hook and pattern. Don woke just before sunrise (5:45) and I dozed again till 8:00 when I put the coffee on. Boiled eggs for breakfast. Happy Birthday Nathan! Entering Hilton Head for a tie up at Skull Creek Marina, winding through marshes thick with grasses and big blue herons, was a pretty sight. We have been blest with fairly nice weather so far this trip. Dinner on SeaQuell tonight, but for now it's nap time.
