Cape L'Agulhas
14 September 2008 | South Africa
Cape L'Agulhas is the southernmost point in Africa. It is were the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean meet .The coastline was beautiful. Several tidal pools can be found along the coastline and A lighthouse, established in 1849 offers the tourist a place to have a cup of tea. One can also climb to the top of the lighthouse for a spectacular view. We got to dip our feet in the Indian ocean ,than in the Atlantic . It was a spectacular day. The drive along the coast ,seeing places like Gordon's Bay, Hermanus, Caledon and Elgin and Cape L'Agulhas is a must for anyone coming to visit South Africa
We enjoyed it and in the company of great friends made it that much better.
This area is know for it's Great White sharks, people will go into the water in cages to see them ,not me .
