This is our third night anchoring outside a marina. We are at a small village Gaios on Paxoi Island. The island is approximately 5 miles long by 1 mile wide. We took a tour of the waterway through the town, stopped to wonder around, then had waffles with ice cream and donuts with ice cream for desert.
Today started out looking like another day of motoring. The wind was coming up a little so we set the sails. we made a semi-circle to get here because of the wind's changing direction. We ended up close hauled for the last 1.5 hours making about 5 knots or better. This was the best sailing we've had this trip.
