Neverland Journey

Adventures since 2011

In Port-finishing projects

It is Wednesday evening 7:30pm and we won't go to dinner for another three hours. We chose to hire a young agile man from the marina service to go up the mast to drill in place the new lazy jack system for our main sail. Mike and I decided we are too heavy to get each other up there by winch.
The picture posted is our neighbor in the marina. His boat is 63 ft to our 36 ft.
It is hot!! 93 degrees in the cabin. But, we had plenty to do to keep us from thinking of the heat. Glad I had that VBS workout before I came. If all goes well tomorrow, we will try to leave port between 12 & 2, which is just about the time the meltime hits.
That's all for now. FLAT JESUS has a good view of everything for the trip too.
