Changing Weather

Alice
We were prepared for some wind last night in case we were not far enough south, but strong winds never appeared, though the winds did veer as the low passed to our north, and the clouds gave us plenty rain. It looks as though another low (1014) will be passing our position just south of us at 1600z. Today has been a good day to dry out...we lay our wet gear in the sun and got everything ready for more wind and rain tonight. The air is cold today, so I guess that cold front did pass us, there is what appears to be a warm front to our south, but it never came our way.
My computer is nice to me most of the time...it has been around the world by water so it is amazing that it works at all... today it is especially congenial and lets me use i and k, the comma and the very useful number 8.
All is well on True Blue, We send our love, Alice, Kate and Pam
