@ 2300z bar 1026.5 and r1s1ng...
we had w1nd th1s morn1ng but 1t was up and down aga1n and f1nally gave 1t up around noon our t1me.currently (0400z) barometer reads 1032 and r1s1ng! very l1ght a1rs. we are motor1ng 30T to charge batter1es and ma_e water. Hopefully the h1gh w1ll subs1de a b1t tomorrow and g1ve us a b1t more w1nd! When the w1nd gave up to a l1ght breeze we played w1th the assymetr1c today but there was not enough w1nd relat1ve to the swell to ma_e 1t worthwh1le....Blue 1s heavy ...she does well 1f she can get her momentum up but 1f not 1t 1s more than a l1ttle bt slow.
There are lots of b1rds around when the w1nd 1s up..... albatross and shearwater but they seem to d1sappear when 1t calms off....just l1_e us these sea b1rds need the w1nd to move....out th1s far they are mostly gl1ders.
Hope all 1s well wth everyone antc1pat1ng our arr1val...we are dong f1ne here though these calms may set us bac a day or two...1t wll be n1ce to see you all when we arr1ve.
All is well on True Blue We send our love, Alice, Kate, and Pam
