New Wave left Bimini before dawn and motor sailed across the stream to Lake Worth inlet with a strong SE wind behind her and some 5-10' seas pushing her along. We averaged 9kn the whole way, often surfing waves at 10 or 11 kn. A very intense fast trip across. We rode the waves into the calm of Lake Worth in the afternoon and settled into a nice rest at Old Port Cove Marina in N. Palm Beach, the Bahamas now behind us.
