Enjoying the Whitsundays with Gavin and Sharon Larkings, our friends from Australia, we explored Whitehaven beach and Tongue Bay together. The beach is about 5 miles long and covered with white sand the consistency of talcum powder, truly spectacular! We anchored later in Tongue bay and hiked up to the viewpoint on the hill for panoramic views of the beach and surrounding waters. Truly stunning. We're now back in Hamilton Island marina, where we said goodbye to our friends and are now planning our next sail to Hook Island to explore the snorkeling and scenery there!
