Liz for Dermot
The observant amongst you may have noticed that the position on the charts seems to be back by Beechy Island. Unfortunately that isn't a mistake. See last night's posting for an explanation.
Reasonably uneventful trip back to our second home. A bit demoralising and cold but far from the end of the world.

We were rewarded with our first proper sun-rise. 30 minutes after it had dipped below the horizon.

Will await new ice reports before making any new plans. On our arrival there was a Swedish boat, Aeriel IV at anchor that we'd been aware of, via the radio schedule with Peter Semotiuk. They are going the same way as us so will be useful to compare notes.

Also a Cayman registered big fast motor boat with predominantly New Zealanders and Australians aboard anchored in "our" bay, so it's getting a bit crowded.
