thank you very much for all your helpful tips in identifying the engine fault. We have a new lift pump arriving tomorrow, so fingers crossed, this will sort it out. The Raymarine autohelm, radar, and interface are also on their way from Lisbon, making a weekend departure a possibility????..... watch this space!
