Tied up in Horta!

1900 hrs British Summer Time Ocean One tied up to the Customs Pontoon in Horta! I'VE MADE IT!
I nearly fell off the pontoon as it very hard to stand on something that isn't moving around.
Customs is closed for the day, but I can stay moored here until the morning- they may have to wake me up!
I am heading off to find a restaurant and a celebration drink. Thanks for all your words of support, which were forwarded on to me.

Land is finally in sight - about 30 miles in the distance I can see a glorious scene and will be there in about six hours. Must sort out my pilot plan for Horta and prepare for the Customs..... and then that beer!!

Fully reefed down, Ocean One has got the scent of land in her nostrils, and we are flying along in this strong breeze! Hoping to arrive on Sunday afternoon. The thing I am looking forward to most is to sleep in the horizontal position!! Can't remember how many days ago I had that luxury!
Duncan Sweet of Mid Atlantic Yacht Services has already ordered in some parts I need and I plan to meet him on Monday first thing.....provided I wake up, that is ......zzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz
