Our MIB

15 May 2012 | South Pacific
Admiral 40 Catamaran
After lunch today, we threw our Message in a Bottle from the stern of Oceans Dream. Due to the South Pacific drift and trade winds, it will probably end up somewhere off the North East coast of Australia (assuming it stays afloat). We'll let you know if we here anything. In the meantime, we have less than 150 nm to run to Vanuatu. Recent days have seen a distinct lack of wind so we have had to resort to burning a few litres of diesel. The temperature has increased and we have the fishing lines out. We will now start our course of anti- malarial tablets to protect us during our time in Melanisia.
