Severe Weather
25 September 2008 | Salinas PR
These past several weeks we have had our share or Oregon weather. Storm after storm has swept by the northern coast of PR dropping tremendous amounts of rain on the island. Two days ago we had flash floods after 18" of rain fell in less than four hours. Our dingy was flooded with more than 100 gallons of water. Winds in excess of 50mph whipped the bay and several boats dragged anchor. This picture was taken just as a particularly bad wave passed over the Omarsea.
