After having been here in Ft Myers for so many months we got to know many people. Two of our special new friends are Percy and Jenny of Endeavor. They have travelled from South Africa and are now living aboard their Morgan 38 sloop. They really adopted our family and were especially fond of the Tref kids. We had the opportunity to visit with them one morning as a home school project. The kids read up of Africa and we watched the film "DUMA" filmed in South Africa. Loaded with questions we went over and learned a great deal from our friends about the history of the country and what it is like to live there. On our last day Percy and Jenny asked us out for a special farewell ice cream cone and a walk on the beach to talk. What great people these two are! We miss them.
