Peaceful

01 November 2015
We are home in North Carolina. We arrived 2 weeks ago today. We had a pretty stressful departure from Cape Cod, trying to finish up everything and feeling good about leaving for 6 months, also Sophie had a pretty major setback health wise the last week we were there. But we all made it back and order has been restored here. We hauled Bella on Friday, just a short list of things we wanted to do while out of the water.

It feels so good to be here, we are getting into a groove and the days go by quickly. It feels so nice to have the luxury of free time although it always takes us a couple of weeks to settle in no matter what we are doing or where we are. I still cruise the sailing blogs on the Internet, although instead of them making me feel stuck and frustrated, they give me the inspiration and the belief in ourselves that when the time is right we will get back on the water and perhaps embrace it even more without the confines, deadlines and pressure we put on ourselves. Perhaps this break from boating has been a good thing???? Well that's how I feel in this very moment anyway.

Provincetown is so not on my radar right now, again maybe a good thing.......hmmmm living in the moment perhaps?!

We love our little space here and it is sometimes hard to even go into town for errands. It is so incredibly quiet and peaceful and coming from Cape Cod in the summer time it feels like a different world entirely.
