Here we go again/the reason why

ugh.....cold and rainy..wth?
We are gearing up for another season here on the tip of cape cod. We were able to sneak away from a ridiculously cold and snowy winter for 5 weeks to a not so cold and snowy eastern North Carolina. We were there for 5 weeks, visited friends and ate and drank way too much......the boat got 2 new hatches, the camper got new hickory hardwood floors and Sophie got a ton of screen porch and play time. We were not able to take the camping trip we had planned, Sophie is not well and we did not want to stress her traveling so we sat tight and enjoyed our space.

We are back on the cape....the weather is relentless....typical for this time of year. We will start to get busy really quickly. We have 6 months left to go here and then it is off for another adventure. May be the keys on the boat, may be cross country camping or maybe even camping the Baja Peninsula! Who knows........I certainly don't.

About: This our fifth sailboat and more than likely our last. We bought our first sailboat in 10/97, having no experience, just a thirst for the unconventional. Sophie joined us while in the Keys 1/2010. She is a wonderful addition to the crew.
