Day 33 144 miles to good
17 July 2015 | Underway
yes we did with the winds still in high teens and 20's supposed to remain the same till Sunday then crap hits
yes as we make our turn towards Juan de Fuca straight we will be getting winds from the NNW in higher numbers 28 plus.. for a few days.. we hope to only have 6 7 days max left so that means 4 days of heavy cold weather.. if we can keep the speeds we will bundle up more than we already are and take it... as we are a salty wet bunch.. in need of hot showers... as its been too ruff to attempt and the water in the tanks is icy cold..
we heat it us in kettle to wash.
we had two ships this am within 3 hours both heading to East one to Gutamalla he answered our hail and the other enroute per our AIS to LAUSA he never answered i hailed him from 5 miles out till 1.7 where he passed off our stern.. with no response and we saw neither of them as the Fog contiunes day and night to less than 1/4 miles visiblility..
so we are on alert.. hard at night.. kinda spoooky
so one week.. or less till Neah our first port of landfall position 45 18.18N 151 05.82W sog 6.3 cog 049
take care
