calm after Cyclone Ian
yes Cyclone Ian was our Inspiration at Sea me and Chikas first.. and hopefully last. it was quite a ride for a few hours here in the bay in Neiafu. They said is was a Cyclone safe hole and it turned out to be, and my first on a mooring ball. It was like riding a wild horse in a run away...
you could not stand up below with out being tossed around and that is unuseual as norm in ruff seas below is still quire calm. The reason it was ruff below is we were tired to a ball. And yes was out on watch most of the time it was blowing and the waters here in the bay building
After 3 hurricanes on Inspiration at Sea in the Sea of Cortez all in a marina and one on Changing Tides in Bermuda at anchor.. its all quite a ride, and so so much to prepare, strip the decks down to bare..
all is well again and will write more about Tonga and exploring these beautiful Islands.. like the SEa or Gulf Islands all is very close.. only hours away to a pristine anchorage.. with white sand beaches.. some like sugar...
well have to go charge my computer and get dinner so till then.. hope all are warm and safe.. out there..
