Well I'm still working on the coachouse have now got 4 coats of varnish on the teak and plan on painting next 2 coats base and then 2 coats top finish and then the antislip finish. By then I will have to take a break and head back home for Christmas returning in January to prep the boat for the trip to cabo San Lucas and La Paz then San Carlos. Will keep all posted so keep reading as the adventure continues and I WILL depart SOON.

Well after about a weekof hard work I am still striping the coachouse ans sanding I hope to start painting next week but it will take until then to put a base coat of varinsh on the brightwork and a trip to San Diego for paint and supplies. Looks like my departure south will be some time in January 2013. Weather here is sunny each day and dry good for my work projects.

Well after traveling through Montana in about 2 feet of snow I am now at the boat doing cleanup and more repairs. The boat was in a very dirty condition upon my arrival and it will take me several days just to clean it so I can plan the next stage. The weather here was rainy yesterday but to day is sunny and warm so I was able to at least scrub down the decks and plan my next project. I hope to be able to do the fiberglass repair here that I have been waiting to do in dry weather and if the conditions hold hope to start it tomorrow.
