Having the time of our lives!
15 June 2010 | Central Coast
Our trip north was a trip like no other! Due to weather conditions we pushed through and did what would normally be a two day trip, into one long 15 hr day of travel. The wind was light & on our nose, but the seas were messy from the previous few days windy weather. I experienced sea sickness for my first time during this trip (my own doing, & not nice at all) which left Darren on the helm for most of the trip. Suffice to say, we hope to not have that happen again!
We were also very fortunate to have wonderful friends meet us here this past weekend so that we could catch up on our lives & share our future dreams! It's always wonderful spending time with people you don't get to see near enough.
Currently we are sitting in a spectacular anchorage & having the time of our lives! We have had the entire place to ourselves now for the past two days which is also a huge bonus! We have spent days along the shore beachcombing, playing stick with our beautiful dog & reflecting on how fortunate we truly are. Learning to live in balance, while enjoying an enriching life with less is proving to be very worthwhile & inspiring journey!
Tomorrow will find us leaving this piece of paradise in search of another! BC is such a beautiful place, you just gotta love it!
