San Blas

We came back to the San Blas beginning of May and to stay until mid July. Had kept the boat a Panamarina on mooring balls so sailed it back to the San Blas only to see a mass exodus of most of the people we have met over the years here. Our first year here 4 years ago there were 130 boats approximately. Now on boat count days we can barely get up to 30 boats. Have made some new friends and have had some wonderful snorkeling and fishing. Randy is getting really good at going 25 plus feet and finding us supper! Getting used to the idea that were are not on holidays and that we are retired slow but sure. Wonderful to have time to cook, read, rest, work out and take care of ourselves and each other. Had the Sears – Judy and Steven down for a week. They snorkeled for the first time and did fabulous! Even had them swimming with the sharks! In a few days we have Wendy, Jess and Lars Mieser for a few weeks then pal Margie Lauber for a week. Lots of fun! Great to share this wonderful world with our friends!
