The Skipper
Beto Painting The Pilothouse

It took a little longer then expected to get the cabin sides prepped for the new paint and of course it rained (In Mazatlan!) twice during the course of the preparations. Finally on Monday Beto and Andy my Mexican helpers masking taped the boat and painted her in one day. Today they removed the tape and reattached some hardware that had to be removed. She is looking real good for her 45th year face lift. (Look at the last few pictures.) Now the skipper had better finish painting the hatches, 9 are done 1 remains to do, manana. Also the deck that was repaired still needs to be painted with a non-skid and then paint. Mucho work! But now its time for a cold ice tea or two!

Thanks for visiting our blog. More to follow for sure!
