Another quick update....

Just a quick update on progress....
The guys have anchored for the night 3 nautical miles north of the Gold Coast seaway. The wind was hitting about 30 knots when they stopped but it seemed to have calmed towards evening. I can almost picture them sitting in the cockpit with the teensy little barbecue going, cooking a snag and some baked beans, knocking back a beer or two whilst watching the twinkling lights of high-rise apartments.. :)
In the meantime, I'm sitting with an icepack on my swollen knee whilst my daughter and almost-son-in-law work on getting the room I'm in patched and painted and re-floored ready for wardrobes to be put in on Thursday. I think I could do with a strong drink as well. :)
Oh, while the guys were sailing they came across this poor boat. A victim of the storms? Very sad... they reckon it's around 30'.
