And so continues the Battle of the Bog!

With all good intentions, and with the car filled with more stuff to put on Venture, we headed down to the club. On the way the new pump for the toilet was picked up and I held high hopes that the deadly duel with the despicable dunny would be done and dusted by dinner time and the fun of finding places for the goods and chattels would begin. *sniff* ... *sob* ...no. :(
Dave battled with that pump, trying it first one way, thinking it was on backwards and so removing it and putting it on the other way, pumping, then really quickly realising, when the completely sick-worthy stench arose and 'water' (ahem) began to fill the toilet that it had probably been right the first time. I felt helpless and sat around unable to do a single thing. It became obvious that the problem wasn't with the pump, but with a blockage (not even going to try and think of what is blocking the pipe... suffice to say it possibly isn't nice).
So now we have the problem of trying to shift it. Do we put acid through the pipes and hope it moves? Does Dave do a dive and poke something up the pipe from the outside to shift it? Why have these problems started before we have even taken the boat out of the marina? *sigh* If there's anyone out there with some really good advice on this really icky problem, please let me know because I'd really like to be able to get the mattress back on the bed and be able to unpack. HELP!
Cheers,
Terry
