This is the first 2010 RAFYC (Royal Air Force Yacht Club) rally of the year that I have managed to get time to go on. Rhu however was away working with her students up in the Lake District.

The crew consisted of myself (Paul), Pauline, Noel, Alex and Chris. All members of the RAFYC.

The prictures are from the trip over to the Folly Inn via Osborne Bay
(50 45.503 N 001 15.247 W) were we anchored for lunch, before carrying on to the Folly.

There was very little wind, and the tide was against us all the way to Osborne Bay, but we did manage to get some sailing in.

All the crew had a turn at the wheel, all showing great concentration.

However the real work was left to Chris when it came to putting the anchor down and getting it up. Well it does take a lot of effort to press that button to get the electric windlass to work. He managed very well without getting to tired!!!
