Passed my first log boom and paddled right up for a close shot. You can hear these tugs chugging along for miles it seems. They don't appear to be moving at a distance but then you realize they have left you clear down channel.

This was the finest camping spot to date. Simply slide in on a sandy beach and enjoy the flat spot under a tree. Perfect seclusion within a timed approach to Yuculta Rapids.

So, haven't figured out which way to head after my detour. Anyway, I'll take this opportunity to post a couple of pictures (again on separate posts).
Part of why I had to detour for resupply was that I ran out of CLIF BARS. Did you know you can live on them for long periods of time? Well you can. Thanks Misty!!!
