Paradise

What is paradise?
The reason why this question is raised, is that the sailing vessel we have been spending the last 6 years on is called 'Paradise Bound'.
However are we not in paradise when we reached the most beautiful clear bluewater, the shiny white sandbeaches and the wide neverending skies? Is there more beauty for a sailor or is that it?
Yes, there is not only what appears to the eye but the ears are in paradise as well, when the sounds of the wavelets dance on the beach or caress the hull of the boat. And when one can listen to the silence it is like the world would be standing still. Time has all of a sudden no more meaning. The sun goes up, the sun goes down.
The gentle breeze touching the bare skin and making not only your skin alive is like a bunch of butterlies visiting. The wind has its own language and makes your sailing experience into stories.
Infinite horizons open up a new dimension. It is as if the body gets a ride into freedom, the thoughts become more spacious, the heart feels open and the daily worries become smaller and smaller.
If being on the water, sailing along lonesome islands can be called paradise then that contributes to one part of happiness - actually paradise found.
