Cape Eleuthera time to go
16 March 2017 | Cape Eleuthera sharks love when fishermen come in
cooler temps with north wind (18 overnight, 25 daytime)
We have enjoyed 4 nights here but it's time to go. The wind has been north west and fairly constant at 12-18 knots. Any wind with North or west builds waves here and a swell inside the marina. Most of the anchorages have very little protection from those winds so we stayed here.
We had good WiFi for a short time and I was able to connect with Dan http://traveloguecreator.com/blogging-sailing-caribbean/
We have been trying to connect to do a podcast and we finally got it done!
There is a nice restaurant here with a great view of the Cape. We happened to be here on a day when the fishermen came in with a boatload of grouper. Freshly caught then cleaned and filleted at the dock. I bought 2 large fillets for $20.00. As usual I asked how they cook it.
Cape Eleuthera Grouper:
Sprinkle with "sour", (lime juice)
Generously salt and pepper
Get your pan hot and when the pan is ready dredge the fish in flour then immediately put it in the pan.
Flip once!
Delicious!
