On the dock completing re-fit. Seeking crew and a cheap used inflatable and survival raft

Underway

15 December 2015 | Atlantic Ocean, North and East of Bahamas
Winds out of the WNW, 15 to 20
Underway. Took on crew from Fort Mac south. Stood off and paralleled
GA and FL Coast to see what would break.

Minor tweaks but did not need to put in. Make sure you have enough wraps on the headsail furler!

Making easting to clear north and east of Bahamas. May stand out to clear east of the Virgins to not have to make the passage between the
Virgins and PR.

Heading 120 and letting the stream set me north. Hope to clear the stream and pick up more south.

Single handing. Autopilot working well. Sleeping in cockpit and quite comfortable.

Coming together

16 November 2014 | Fort Mcallister Marina
Kelly - Cold & Clear. Low Press from North
New Instruments and VHF installed and working. Need a couple more 2000/0183 conversion cables and one more 422 to usb cable to complete integration.

Autopilot due next week (I hope.) Old SSB still own't work. Getting a SatPhone next month to cover.

Hoping to be headed south by Jan 10. Budget and necessary work on the house is saying Feb 7.

Hope to meet up with InfinityB in March as they head north.

mid-Ebb, Current 6.5 kts

15 August 2014 | 31:53.18N 081:12.81W
Sunny w/scattered thrunderstorms
Solar Panels busily pumping free electrons into batteries. Been three days off shore power on one of the two 30 amp shore power circuits.

Next month will replace temporary wood struts on bimini with square aluminum tubing and complete water tanks.

After that, the only thing holding Patience to the dock is the genset, water maker, and re-installing instruments. (and a bunch of minor stuff like rewiring engine instrument console, new gaskets in ports and hatches, installing galley sink, etc.)

Could use a new SSB, but will probably wait until after the first leg which includes only one long offshore segment from Mid-Florida to Puerto Rico and there is sufficient traffic for VHF on that run.

The Re-Fit and Pre-Escape

14 July 2014 | fort McAlister Marina, GA, USA
Captain (or Staff Sergeamt at leas)
Currently under re-fit and looking for crew to assist in re-fit and make the first leg and/or beyond.

Mounting the hardtop Bimini in July and then getting the gen set back online. Then on to the water system (ship's) and water maker. Somewhere in there re-mounting the radar and insturments, i.e. charplotter, autopilot, wind, speed, depth, etc.

Hope to be off the dock in October to mid November.

First Leg: Richmond Hill to Martinique, (Clearing Port out of Savannah.)
Second Leg: Martinique to Cucumber Beach, Belize City, Belize.

Anyone know a good source for a used inflatable or survival raft?
