Tenacatita and La Manzanilla

Tenacatita and La Manzanilla
The book calls this Bay of the Iguanas, haven't seen any here. Our first anchorage we read about was called the "Aquarium" beautiful stretch of land but we were unable to go ashore because a developer had purchased the land surrounding the bay and it now looks like a ghost town. We did experience yet another beautiful sunset. La Mazanilla was a cute little town with a lot of colorful little buildings and the streets were really nice. Our dinghy landings and launching are improving but the waves always bring something new each time. We were going to leave here Last Monday but as we were aimlessly walking and exploring the off beaten path we came upon the Catalina School which offered a Spanish Immersion course for a week three hours a day. We checked in with Red Sky and we all said "si let's do it!" It was a bit difficult the first day but with each passing day our confidence to learn was building. Whitney was exceptional at reading and writing and Eric and Tommy with their photographic memories did great. We have anchored in three bays and today we are moving to the next bay here to play at the posh hotel around the corner. We have scoped it out and there is a trampoline also for the kids to play on and a back drop of cliffside homes. Check out our albums we have some great shots.
Perfect Wave signing out!
