This is a picture of the anchorage in San Pedro. I added more pictures to previous post, check them out

Headed north to San pedro yesterday. The trip was un evebtful, just easy motor sailing to give the batterys a charge. The check in process was very easy and was free, i have a 30 day visa. The dog was a non issue with the health cert. fro mexico. The anchorage is a bit rolly with speed boats full of divers zooming by all day and a little at night. I can see the reef entrance and may go out in the dingy and check it out, I saw one sail boat wait outside for help to get in but neaver heard a radio call. They may have made yelled to a dive boat that was outside the reef that lead them in. San Pedro is a bit over wellming after Cay Caulker. The streets are paved and everybody is zooming around on narrow streets. I may stay a couple of days.

Chuck, I have to say that San Pedro looks a bit choppy. I might have to send you to look for calmer seas. I think that is what I am looking for in all phases of my life right now:) Stay dry! BTW, our grandson Slevin turned 10 months old today. He is walking, climbing and laughing all the time. He has the cutest curly blonde hair as well. I wonder where he got those curls!! Diane

Sunday
Weather ha improved a bit, just the right amount of sun, wind still 20 to 25. Heading to San Pedro tomorrow AM. From here it is all inside the reef so soling is a breeze. Got some anchoring info from a passing cruiser so it should be no problem. I will probably only stay a day or two . Then head back here, Cay Caulker. The Lobster fest is on the 15th and I think may be worth waiting for. It will be the first day of Lobster season, a very big deal in these parts. I will need to get to Cucumber beach Marina a couple of days before Diane arrives on the 18th. I got m Genoa back up today with the help of some guys in a dingy on there way to there boat.

Chuck and Guinney, Glad to hear you are both safe and dry in Belize. I will be arriving on the 18th if all is well. It looks like I will also have smooth sailing so I do plan to be there very soon!! I love you both, Diane

Forget to tell you that our Slevin is walking like a pro! He's not quite 10 months old but he is really moving. He walked over to me today and gave me a smile and a big hug. I think he loves his grandma!! I know he will want to go sailing so you'd better be ready for him. See you soon, Diane

This is Joe trying toget a weather update from the local bar tender, Ha. I made im pose for this picture. Joe is a Boy Scout. i am continually amazed at the careing, smart and nice people I run into , although I am not sure how smart it is to sail a 35 foot hobie cat from Tulsa OK to his place in Honduras. After our night getting to Belize I think Joe may agree. Happy sailin Joe, I consider you a good friend.

I made it to belize. The jouney was epic for sure. The entrance to Ambergis was raging. Joe went in because he could not turn around. I was not sure I could fight6 my way back out but I made it. Came in about 15 miles farther south, backtraked to Cay Caulker and met up with joe

I got some stuff entern out of order so read the Punta Allen section again to ctatch up to here

Glad to hear you guys are behind the reefs. Definetly sounds epic! I can't wait to hear what a rage actually looks and feels like.
