Wind is decreasing again and we made just over a 100 miles over the last day.

We are now well adjusted to the daily pattern of living on the boat. For meals, everybody does what they want for breakfast, while lunch and dinner are typically done around noon and five thirty local boat time. All meals are served in bowls and eaten in the cockpit. Lunch is typically a salad or sandwich and supper is a hot meal usually fish (fresh mahi mahi when available) or meat that was preserved for the passage. At 4 pm, we have the local happy hour.

We worked today to replace the bow spinnacher pole downhaul which was starting to wear. The pole is used to support the genny on a broad reach in 2.5 metre seas. Thirteen flying fish on deck after the night. We caught two mahi mahi today and again enjoyed fresh fish for supper. Tomorrow we will reach the 1000 mile point marking one third of the passage.

Fresh caught maui maui again for supper. A large freighter passed by six miles away headed south .at mid-day. All's well on board.

Entamons la 2eme semaine: 2300 miles tout droit devant nous sous vent portant. (nous aussi bien portant). Pronostic du capitaine: duree totale de la croisiere " Club Pacifique" 26 jours. Tres beau soleil, chaud mais agreable.

Again the deck is littered overnight by flying fish and a squid. No luck in fishing department today. First day with a lot of rain showers but wind overall remains a bit light; we are averaging just under 100 nautical miles per day. All is quiet and well aboard.

The day started with cleaning the deck of flying fish and squid. Fishing resulted in a mahi mahi just in time for supper and just the right size for 3 people.
