Finding the satellite!!!

14 April 2012 | Why not Valencia
Tracey
Easier said than done.
Thursday was spent installing the tv, we bought a handy little satellite dish and we seem to be able to get every language, except English.  The only English we can get is news, news and more news.  Though we are persevering and feel we can't be too far out as all the channels are coming up in the menu, just can't get the signal. I think we might be experts in German by the time we leave Valencia. If only we could find 28 east and we would be home from home. Lol !!

Saturday morning, cycled back into Valencia, wanted to go along the beach front but it is quite chilly today, a low 15 deg c. So opted for mc Donalds free wifi to catch up on our emails and sailblog. Yesterday, Richard messed around with his engine and gave her some more oil, also found some more compartments that we didn't know we had. Not sure what the rest of the day holds but will be keeping cap'n jack away from the electrical department in Carrefour, in case he finds something else that is essential, maybe a washing machine or something lol.

About:
We have bought a Sun Odyssey 45.2 and is called Why Not. Richard is going to be Captain, (with my permission) and I am going to be cook, navigator and chief bottle washer. So if we get lost, it will be my fault and I will have to walk the plank, especially now that he thinks he is Jack Sparrow. [...]
